Reconecta Con Tu Intuición

A Morning to Pause and Breathe

This space isn't here to ask anything of you. It's here to listen to you.

There's a particular kind of tired that doesn't come from doing too little. It comes from never stopping — from moving through a life so full of responsibilities that the last time you truly listened to yourself starts to feel like a long time ago. That was the question Believe Cancer Foundation built this morning around, and on Wednesday, April 1st, they brought it to Tonalí Lake House.

‍ ‍

Reconecta Con Tu Intuición was designed as exactly that: a pause. Led by facilitator Ivonne Peláez, the morning opened with soft yoga — nothing performative, nothing that asked bodies to prove anything — and moved into guided meditation as the lake settled into its own quiet. The goal wasn't to push past tension. It was to calm the nervous system enough to actually feel what was underneath it.

‍ ‍

What made the morning work was restraint. No packed agenda, no long list of things to accomplish before lunch — just an outdoor setting calm enough to let each woman arrive at her own pace and stay there for a while. Believe Cancer Foundation held the intention; Tonalí held the space to let it breathe.

‍ ‍

"This space isn't here to ask anything of you. It's here to listen to you."

‍ ‍

That line, more than anything, captures what the morning was for. Not a wellness checklist. Not another thing to get right. Just permission — to sit still, to breathe, to come back to yourself before the rest of the day asks for you again.

‍ ‍

Thank you to Believe Cancer Foundation and Ivonne Peláez for bringing this morning to Tonalí, and to every woman who showed up ready to do nothing more than listen to herself.

‍ ‍

You come as many. You leave as one. The Lake Restores.
