By using the Tonalí website or registering for an experience, you agree to these Terms and any event-specific terms presented during registration.

Nature of Our Experiences

Tonalí offers experiences that may include wellness, movement, mindfulness, creativity, culture, education, food, spirituality, and community gatherings.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these experiences are educational and experiential in nature.

Tonalí does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, nutritional, or other healthcare diagnosis or treatment.

Participation in a Tonalí experience is not a substitute for individualized advice or treatment from an appropriately qualified professional.

Independent Facilitators

Some Tonalí experiences are provided in collaboration with independent instructors, practitioners, educators, artists, or facilitators.

These individuals are responsible for their own professional services, qualifications, methods, and representations.

Hosting or collaborating with a facilitator does not mean that Tonalí adopts every statement, belief, recommendation, or method expressed by that individual.

Reservations

A reservation is confirmed once the required payment has been received and any required registration documents have been completed.

Tonalí may reasonably modify an experience due to facilitator availability, weather, safety considerations, attendance, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Weather and Outdoor Experiences

Many Tonalí experiences take place outdoors.

Outdoor activities may be modified, postponed, moved, or canceled because of lightning, severe weather, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Participant safety takes priority when these decisions are made.

PARTICIPANT ASSUMPTION OF RISK & WAIVER

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING.

I voluntarily choose to enter the Tonalí property and participate in the experience for which I am registered.

I understand that Tonalí experiences may include activities such as yoga, Pilates, stretching, movement, meditation, breathwork, sound experiences, creative workshops, outdoor activities, walking on natural surfaces, food service, fire-pit or grill areas, and other activities described for the particular event.

I understand that participation may involve risks including, but not limited to:

  • Slips, trips, and falls

  • Strains, sprains, or physical injury

  • Aggravation of an existing physical condition

  • Dizziness or physical discomfort

  • Heat and sun exposure

  • Rain, lightning, and changing weather

  • Insects, plants, and wildlife

  • Uneven or natural terrain

  • Proximity to a lake or water

  • Food allergies or allergic reactions

  • Fire, smoke, grills, heaters, or hot surfaces

  • Emotional discomfort associated with reflective or personal-development activities

  • Actions of other participants

  • Other risks inherent in participating in indoor or outdoor experiences

I understand that I am responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for me.

I agree to follow reasonable safety instructions, use modifications when appropriate, and stop participating if I feel unwell, uncomfortable, or unsafe.

I understand that Tonalí does not provide individualized medical clearance.

I voluntarily assume the inherent and disclosed risks associated with my participation and presence on the Tonalí property to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

If I appear to require urgent assistance and I am unable to direct my own care, I authorize Tonalí personnel to contact emergency services and my designated emergency contact.

I understand that I am responsible for charges imposed by third-party emergency or medical providers.

NO LAKE ENTRY IS PERMITTED unless Tonalí expressly authorizes a separate activity.

Fire pits, grills, heaters, and similar equipment may be used only as authorized by Tonalí.

I agree to comply with reasonable safety, property, and conduct rules communicated by Tonalí.

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I release and hold harmless Tonalí Lake House, its operating legal entity, owners, employees, and authorized agents from claims arising from the inherent risks of my voluntary participation, except to the extent that a claim cannot legally be waived.

PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18

Participants under 18 may participate only in experiences specifically identified by Tonalí as permitting minors.

A parent or appropriate natural/legal guardian must complete the required minor registration, consent, and waiver before the minor participates.

A minor may not complete the adult Participant Waiver on their own.

EVENT REGISTRATION, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Registration is confirmed after payment and completion of any required registration documents.

Participant Cancellations

Tonalí Cancellations

If Tonalí cancels an experience and does not provide an appropriate rescheduled option, amounts paid directly to Tonalí for the canceled experience will be refunded according to the terms applicable to that event and applicable law.

Weather

Outdoor experiences may be postponed, modified, relocated within the property, or canceled when weather or safety conditions require.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive at the time specified for your experience.

Late entry may be restricted when entering after an experience has begun would materially disrupt the experience or create a safety concern.

PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT

Please select one option:

  • YES — I authorize Tonalí to photograph or record me and use my image, likeness, and voice in Tonalí’s website, social media, editorial, promotional, and archival materials without additional compensation.

  • LIMITED — I am comfortable appearing incidentally or in group photographs/video, but I do not want to be individually featured or used in close-up promotional content.

  • NO — I do not consent to being intentionally photographed or recorded for Tonalí promotional purposes. I understand that I should identify myself to Tonalí staff at check-in so reasonable steps can be taken to honor my preference.

I understand that Tonalí cannot always retrieve copies of photographs or recordings that have already been publicly distributed, reposted, captured, or shared by third parties.

By registering for an experience, you authorize Tonalí to contact you regarding that registration, including confirmations, reminders, parking instructions, weather information, schedule changes, safety information, and customer-service matters.
