These Terms apply to your use of tonalilakehouse.com and to your participation in experiences held at Tonalí Lake House, operated by Tonali Lake House, LLC ("Tonalí," "we," "us"). By using this website or attending an experience at Tonalí, you agree to these Terms and to any event-specific terms provided to you before you register.
About this website
This website provides information about Tonalí and the experiences held here. No bookings or payments are processed through this website. Registration for each experience takes place through its organizer, as indicated in the experience listing or in our direct communication with you.
Nature of our experiences
Experiences at Tonalí may include wellness, movement, mindfulness, creativity, culture, education, food, contemplative practices, and community gatherings. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these experiences are educational and experiential in nature.
Tonalí does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, nutritional, or other healthcare diagnosis or treatment. Participation in an experience is not a substitute for individualized advice or treatment from an appropriately qualified professional. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have any concern about an activity, please consult a qualified professional before participating.
Independent facilitators and organizers
Some experiences are led or organized by independent instructors, practitioners, educators, artists, or organizers. These individuals are responsible for their own professional services, qualifications, methods, and representations. Hosting or collaborating with a facilitator does not mean that Tonalí adopts every statement, belief, recommendation, or method expressed by that individual.
When an experience is organized by a third party, registration, payment, cancellation, and refunds are governed by that organizer's own terms and platform.
Reservations for experiences organized by Tonalí
For experiences organized directly by Tonalí, a reservation is confirmed once the required payment has been received and any required registration documents have been completed.
Tonalí may reasonably modify an experience due to facilitator availability, weather, safety considerations, attendance, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Cancellations, refunds, and late arrivals
Participant cancellations. The cancellation and refund terms for each experience organized by Tonalí are communicated before payment. If you need to cancel, please contact us at tonali@tonalilakehouse.com as early as possible.
Tonalí cancellations. If Tonalí cancels an experience and does not provide an appropriate rescheduled option, amounts paid directly to Tonalí for the canceled experience will be refunded according to the terms applicable to that event and applicable law.
Late arrivals. Please arrive at the time specified for your experience. Late entry may be restricted when entering after an experience has begun would materially disrupt the experience or create a safety concern.
Weather and outdoor experiences
Many experiences at Tonalí take place outdoors. Outdoor activities may be modified, postponed, relocated within the property, or canceled because of lightning, severe weather, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Participant safety takes priority when these decisions are made.
Safety and property rules
No lake entry is permitted unless Tonalí expressly authorizes a separate activity.
Fire pits, grills, heaters, and similar equipment may be used only as authorized by Tonalí.
Guests agree to follow the reasonable safety, property, and conduct rules communicated by Tonalí or the facilitator.
Tonalí may ask any person who does not follow these rules, or whose conduct creates a safety concern, to leave the property.
In an emergency, Tonalí personnel may contact emergency services. Charges imposed by third-party emergency or medical providers are the responsibility of the person receiving care.
Assumption of risk
Participation in any experience at Tonalí is voluntary. Depending on the activity, participation may involve risks including slips, trips, and falls; strains, sprains, or other physical injury; aggravation of an existing physical condition; dizziness or discomfort; heat, sun, rain, lightning, and changing weather; insects, plants, and wildlife; uneven or natural terrain; proximity to a lake; food allergies or allergic reactions; fire, smoke, grills, heaters, or hot surfaces; emotional discomfort associated with reflective or personal-development activities; and the actions of other participants.
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you, for following reasonable safety instructions, for using modifications when appropriate, and for stopping if you feel unwell, uncomfortable, or unsafe. Tonalí does not provide individualized medical clearance.
Participants in experiences organized by Tonalí may be asked to sign a Participant Assumption of Risk & Waiver before participating. Third-party organizers may require their own waiver.
Participants under 18
Participants under 18 may take part only in experiences specifically identified as permitting minors. A parent or legal guardian must complete the required registration, consent, and waiver before the minor participates. A minor may not complete an adult waiver on their own.
Photography and video
Experiences at Tonalí may be photographed or recorded for use on our website, social media, and editorial, promotional, and archival materials. If you prefer not to be photographed or individually featured, please let the Tonalí team know at check-in, and we will take reasonable steps to honor your preference. We cannot always retrieve images that have already been shared publicly or captured by other guests or third parties.
Communications
If you register for an experience organized by Tonalí, we may contact you about that registration, including confirmations, reminders, parking instructions, weather information, schedule changes, safety information, and customer-service matters. We send marketing emails or text messages only to people who have separately opted in, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
Intellectual property and external links
Text, photographs, logos, and other materials on this website belong to Tonalí or are used with permission and may not be reproduced without written consent. This website links to third-party websites and platforms; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
