This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit tonalilakehouse.com (the "Site"), contact us, attend an experience at Tonalí Lake House, or otherwise interact with us.

Information you provide to us. The Site does not include forms, accounts, or online payments. We receive personal information when you contact us directly, for example by email, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook, or when you register for an experience organized by Tonalí. This may include:
Name, email address, and mobile phone number
The content of your messages and inquiries
Registration information for experiences organized by Tonalí
Emergency contact information
Accessibility requests
Dietary restrictions or food allergies
Limited health or physical information that you choose to share because it is relevant to safe participation

Information collected automatically. Our Site is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace and our service providers may automatically collect ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages, and similar usage information, using cookies and similar technologies. We use this information in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to keep it working properly.
Payments. No payments are processed through this Site. When you pay for an experience organized by Tonalí, payment is handled by a third-party payment provider, and Tonalí does not store full payment-card numbers.
Experiences organized by third parties
Some experiences held at Tonalí are organized by independent facilitators or organizers who register attendees through their own platforms, such as Eventbrite. Information you provide to those organizers or platforms is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. An organizer may share limited attendee information with Tonalí, such as names and headcount, when reasonably necessary to host the experience safely.

Process registrations, payments, refunds, and reservations for experiences organized by Tonalí

If you contact us through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook, those platforms process your messages under their own privacy policies. Links on our Site to these and other third-party websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Photos and video
Photography and video may take place during experiences at Tonalí. Consent to being individually featured in promotional materials is handled separately from registration. If you prefer not to be featured, please tell our team at check-in so we can take reasonable steps to respect your preference. Because experiences take place in shared spaces, we cannot guarantee that you will never appear incidentally in the background of a photograph or recording.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Squarespace for essential functionality, security, and basic analytics. You can restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Minors
Our Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Experiences at Tonalí are generally intended for participants 18 or older.
